THE WHITE GODDAMN RABBIT.
"She took her name and personality from a fictional book."
Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland.
The "not-so-well-known superhero" is The Fabulous Frog-Man, son of Leapfrog.
When I write Spider-Man, I'll rename him Leap-Frog, with the hyphen.
It was reading clues 5-3 backwards that twigged it for me.

I thought White Rabbit on #4.
But #5 clinched it--the first 2 could have been just about any villainess, and #3 didn't narrow it down a lot.
