John O'Hurley. He's got the white hair. He goes for years without being seen, and then suddenly he's everywhere and can do anything. Everyone recognizes him but they don't always know why: he's that guy they're certain they know, but who is he?
The success of that whole "Dancing With The Stars" thing made him decide to find work where he was on his feet most of the time. Somehow this led him to pursue occult research and he eventually unlocked the secrets of the universe.
I hope that by the end of Infinite Crisis, Golden Age Superman sees his world disappear again, never to return. In the process, he is shown the truth that Grant Morrison showed Animal Man: it is all just stories, and he is out of continuity. Knowing this, he alone goes to the beginning of time, and shepherds continuity to the best result he can as the Phantom Stranger.

Turn the Phantom Stranger into a TEENAGER. Then he can worry about girls AND fighting evil.
Ironically, all the girls just think of him as a friend.
