Monday Challenge - Shuffle Up and Deal!

If all the members of the Justice League got together and had a poker tournament (no outright cheating allowed) - who would win?

Batman (because he always wins)?

Green Arrow (gambling seems to be his thing)?

Superman (super-intelligence)?

Wonder Woman (good judge of character - can tell if you are bluffing)?

Who?

Although I want to say Green Arrow, I will lean towards Wonder Woman as the guys would probably underestimate her ability for the poker face.

Batman--he's smarter than Superman--even if Supes has super-intelligence--and so he'd know when to cut his losses and when to go for broke.

GA would be the most aggressive player though.

Batman. He'd be totally unreadable, is very good at thinking on-the-fly and knows how to really mess with a person's head, so he completely gets the psychology behind the game.

Batman, if he's had contingency plans to take out all the super heroes if they ever went rogue, what makes you think he doesn't have the same plans for taking them down at poker?

Okay, let's assume two things first: no powers, and no costumes.

Wonder Woman's right out. She can't bluff; she's too honest.
Green Arrow would do pretty well for awhile, but his bravado would keep him from backing off of a few too many stupid bets.
Hal Jordan's fearless. Every bet will be without much thought or consideration as to the consequences. He may very well be the first out.
Wally West would do well, but eventually would quit from boredom. It just doesn't move fast enough.
Plastic Man would probably have won, if he didn't keep illegally using his powers to make puns.
So it comes down to Superman and Batman, and that ends up coming down to how much of Clark's innocent naieveté is a farce. If enough of it is real, he'll lose. But Batman's strength is all in his ability to bluff and intimidate, and Clark sees through all that BS. In the end, I think Clark wins, if only because it'll take Bruce down a peg or two.

I was going to say Bruce since he is the best actor and poker face, but I like what Tom Foss said about Clark seeing through his persona.

Even without his powers does Clark still have an intuitive kind of character x-ray vision?

Still, Bruce knows how to do "psychic" cold reads so he would always know who's bluffing unless Clark was able to eliminate any unconscious idiomotor effects, which would probably require his superpowers if for nothing else than staying perfectly still.

Bruce however can control his breathing and heartrate without powers, and could also reduce the odds by card counting.

As soon as you say "no powers" Batman automatically wins because it doesn't deprive him of any advantage.
