Totally gotta be the Sandman.
He's my favorite member of the Fearsome Four, too.
And he's my favorite character in that "Sideways" movie.
Wait, Mysterio's still dead?
I mean, honestly, the dude's an actor and illusionist, how could he *not* come back? It's written into his character!
Anyway, definitely Doc Ock. My favorite Spidey villain, hands (all six!) down.
As a kid, I always liked Electro best (I probably saw him on the '67 cartoon first). He seemed to have the most versatile powers. Sadly, Max has never really lived up to his potential.
Doc Ock, closely followed by Mysterio. Both are characters with great little gimmicks. They're intelligent, innovative, and original enough in their abilities to make for a great story.
By comparison, Electro is just a basic lightning guy, Kraven read The Most Dangerous Game a few too many times (and has an insult for a name), and Sandman, while awesome, is seriously out of Spider-Man's league. Then you've Vulture, who just plain sucks. Octogentarians can be scary, but not if they're trying to punch you. Wings don't make up for bones with the structural integrity of bread sticks.
