September Splash! - Day Nineteen
Today's full page splash comes from Avengers #181, where the Avengers learn that the government is going to place some restrictions on the team. Crazy stuff, but it allows John Byrne to draw a ton of characters at once, which can often rock (he and Perez sure were good on the team books, weren't they?).

Nice shot, but isn't that John Byrne on the art rather than George Perez?
Yeah - that's definately Byrne. Perez did a very similar scene on the cover of that issue (which, IIRC looked a little less... cramped)... which is probably what lead to the confusion.
