September Splash! - Day Twelve
The following McFarlane page from Amazing Spider-Man #300 shows the return of the classic costume, after Peter realized it was a bit creepy to still be wearing a costume that looks like the alien symbiote that just formed a villain who tried to kill him (and scared Mary Jane spitless).

I am now of the belief that Parker lacks any sort of spine. He'd be like a dog, able to lick his own ... private regions.
