Yes. Robbie is smart. Also, once Pete was on a dock bitching out loud to himself about things and yelled out "Why must there be a Spi-" and then Robbie walked up behind him.
It was pretty much confirmed in Kraven's Last Hunt.
Yes--he almost let it slip here and there--but he figured it out--he's a smart guy--and as cinqo says-
