I'd say Wayne Manor, because there's only one unstable guy living there, whereas Avengers Mansion is filled with 'em. Plus, Wayne Manor doesn't get blown up nearly as often.
Although, there's significantly less chance at Avengers Mansion of the trick-or-treaters being recruited to wear short-pants and elf shoes...
I'd go with Avengers Mansion, even if the candy was inferior to what Bats is handing out. Avengers Mansion is in the middle of New York, convenient to dozens of other trick-or-treating spots, while Wayne Mansion is on the outskirts of Gotham, with no neighbors for miles and miles.
I'm thinking at Wayne Manor you'd make off like a bandit with a boat load of gourmet chocolates and candies. But at Avengers Mansion you'd get mind altering candies, super serums, iron man gadgets, or reality changing psychodelics. Sure you could only get one but you have a better chance of someone accidently giving you something to let you take over the world.
Nothing like getting a Cosmic Cube wrapped in orange-and-black wax paper...
To some extent, the question is whether Jarvis or Alfred is better at actually doing butler-type things, but that's probably a wash.
But in addition to "location, location, location," another reason to go to Avengers Mansion is that you might actually meet a superhero. You can be pretty sure that you won't meet either Batman or Bruce Wayne, but at any given time, there's probably at least one "fun-loving" member of the Avengers who'd really dig Halloween and get a kick out of messing around with trick-or-treaters. Like the Beast or Hawkeye, say. Though you might get unlucky and be there at a time when the Avengers are all either grim or boring third-stringers, and you end up having to listen to some damn lecture on the pagan origins of Halloween from Dr. Druid or something.

While the Mommies are in the dark on this, all the neighborhood kids know to stay away from Old Man Wayne at night. He gets downright creepy.
Wayne Manor. Alfred is kind-hearted and doesn't have to turn a budget in to whatever government group they're working with at the time.
Hah! I like Chris's comment! I loved that the Avengers were under budget scrutiny! It was very much a comic of the times...
Let's see, at Wayne Manor you wouldn't get ripped on by security robots.
At Wayne Manor you'd get twenty pieces of candy because few people show up. At Avengers Mansion you get one piece because it's in the middle of F'ing New York and the Avengers are on a budget and there are a lot of F'ing kids! Trust me! The country place works. I got no trick or treaters at my farm. Truth be told if one kid showed up at nine I would have given him or her half my stash.
